MAC Taupe Powder Blush
ENABLED BY THE ENABLERS
As much as possible, I want to feature a product here on my blog that is worth checking out so today I would like to introduce to you my favorite MAC Taupe Powder Blush ($22.00 for 0.21 oz). Been using it since late October and I obviously love it to the max!
I primarily use this powder blush to achieve prominent cheekbones while it may sound so technical but this dark shade has a cloaking skill to recede some areas of the face. This technique is called contouring.
Beauty bloggers like my friend Agata (luv ya, girl!) are very bad for my never-ending makeup wishlist. They are my top enablers of my artistry life in a non-self-destructive way. For real, I am glad that I was able to scratch MAC Taupe Powder Blush off on my want-list and gave it a go! Here’s why I adore this powder blush from MAC Cosmetics!

MAC Taupe Powder Blush
GRAY WITH A TINGE OF BROWN
In the world of beauty, Taupe is kind of a popular shade. You can also find this color on your eye shadow palette and most brands have their own version of it in different textures and finishes.
MAC Taupe Powder Blush has a flat matte finish and has a good amount of warm undertones in it. Lightweight and buildable. Non-chalky. Easily blends with the skin and it feels very silky when touched — I am so in love. It is housed in a typical MAC spill-proof compact in black without a mirror. Unsure if this still belongs to MAC’s permanent range but I bought it from Nordstrom for your reference.

SO YOU WANT IT?
If you are new to facial contouring business (like me, ahem!), MAC Taupe Powder Blush can be your starting go-to blush.
If you also have a NC35 skin tone like mine and if you are confident enough that this shade will also look good on you because it did look good on me — but that was according to my taste, purchase this soon, please!

LESS IS MORE, OF COURSE.
The moment I felt that I was having faith in my contouring skills and thought I knew what was I doing in a bold way, I found myself putting on an extra layer with some crazy, vigorous strokes. Guess what? Maybe it may look nice in photos but yikes I looked horrible in day light. Never again. Thank you very much.

I know those who have sharp eyes can tell where I put the MAC Taupe Powder Blush on my face here. It amazes me that with just using this blush, I can fake life. *laughs*
Until next time!
